How to travel to Orcas Island?

For getting to Orcas Island, you can choose a variety of ferries, seaplanes, or private charter planes.
By Ferry:
You Can Reach Orcas Island by the Washington ferry system from Anacortes. 4 ferries serve the island of San Juan. For more information and reservations, visit Washington State Ferries.
Seattle to Orcas Island, it will take around 3 hr 20 minutes. From Anacortes, it will take around 60 minutes to reach Orcas Island, You can take some books or enjoy some time by taking selfies or pictures. That’s what I did.
For a Limited Time in the summer season, there is an island shuttle van that runs through every island point.

If you want to visit Orcas Island by air, choose from various northwest locations, including Seattle Sea-Tac Airport, Lake Union, or Lake Washington. You can Hire Some Regular or charter planes too.
By Plane, to reach Orcas Island takes around 45 to 55 Minutes.

Orcas Hotel is Located At Ferry Landing, so if you don’t want to bother yourself to find hotels or Cabins, it’s a good option for you. It’s a very famous hotel for its warm hospitality. Check out this place once, at least for a quick lunch.
Moran State Park:
My Favorite Place where I stayed on the island is Moran State Park. You have so many options here, there are 151 Campgrounds in Moran State Park. Reserve through the Washington State Park Website.
Stay in a room or camp with a tent. The island is easily accessible from Moran State Park campgrounds.
Outlook Inn (Eastsound):
Outlook Inn is located in the middle of Orcas Island and perfect location to explore the island. Outlook Inn has been Welcoming Travelers Since 1942, so it’s a pleasure to stay at this historic place. a nice spot to stay on Orcas Island.

Rosario Resort (Near Eastsound):
If you are visiting Orcas Island with a group, you should stay at a resort, and Rosario is the best on Orcas Island. With so many accommodations and an outdoor pool, this resort will give you old vibes. The view of the cascade cove from the outdoor pool is something else.
Hobbit House/TreeHouse:
If you are a HOBBIT Movie fan and want to stay in a HOBBIT House, then you must go to Doa Bay and reserve a Cabin. It’s not just a cabin, it’s full of experience.
With a Queen Size Bed and a mini-fridge, you can have other amenities, and this is a pet-free accommodation.

#Lower Tavern (Eastsound):
Lower Tavern is located at 46 Prune Aly, Eastsound at Orcas Island. From the outside, it’s more like a bar, but you can have breakfast to dinner and other varieties of delicious foods at reasonable prices.
This Place is very good, and the food is also very satisfying. You can have other facilities too, with a parking lot and free wifi. I tried their salmon burger and it was very delicious. You should try this when you visit Orcas Island.
#Hogstone’s Wood Oven
If you are a pizza lover, you should visit Hogstone’s for their variety of wood-fired pizzas. The menu is limited here, and you have to make reservations for the food. Best pizza on Orcas Island.
